Planinter

Planinter: first the space, then the furniture

For more than two decades, Planinter dedicated itself to the comprehensive commercialization of office furniture based on a specific idea: before choosing desks or chairs, you have to understand how the available space is actually used. This way of working brought it closer to a planning consultancy than to a simple catalog of loose pieces.

Its proposal encompassed desks, seating, storage, and office accessories, always with the idea of maximizing work areas without sacrificing comfort. The brand insisted that good space management starts with logical planning, and that the design of each piece should take into account the health of whoever uses it daily, not just its appearance.

At FactoryOficina we apply that same criterion when evaluating Planinter furniture: how much space is actually available, how many workstations need to be resolved, and what combination of desks, seating, and storage makes the best use of that surface area without cluttering it.

Frequently Asked Questions about Planinter

• ● What sets Planinter apart from a standard furniture manufacturer?

Its comprehensive commercialization approach: it started with planning the available space before proposing specific desks, seating, or storage.

• ● What does "logical planning" mean when applied to an office?

Arranging first how each square meter is used—workstations, circulation, archive—and choosing the furniture afterwards, instead of buying piece by piece without an overall criterion.

• ● What type of Planinter pieces can be found in an office project?

Operational desks, seating, cabinets, filing cabinets, and office accessories, designed to fit into an already proposed space layout.

• ● Why did Planinter insist so much on health in office design?

Because it understood postural comfort as part of good space management, not as an optional add-on to the furniture.

• ● How does FactoryOficina apply Planinter's criteria to a current project?

Starting from the actual available space and the number of workstations to be resolved before recommending which desks, seating, or storage fit best.
