Sellex

Sellex: honest design for spaces that welcome people

Sellex was born in 1977 in San Sebastián and today manufactures from Irún under an idea that it repeats in all its communication: honest, timeless design meant to outlast any trend. Its decisive turn came in the 90s, when it transitioned from domestic furniture to the contract market, focusing on equipment and public spaces.

That shift resulted in pieces like the Aero bench, by Lievore Altherr Molina, present in places like London City Hall, or the Tool table, by Carlos Tíscar, capable of transforming into a lectern, whiteboard, and meeting table as needed. Its catalog features over 35 references including benches, stackable seating, tables, and shelving.

At FactoryOficina we value Sellex for receptions, waiting rooms, and multipurpose spaces: where several people need to be seated, which table can serve for both meetings and training, and which pieces should be stacked or stored when not in use.

It is a folding and stackable table designed by Carlos Tíscar that can transform into a lectern, whiteboard, or meeting table depending on the needs of the moment.
