Somomar-Kesta: half a century manufacturing in La Rioja

Industrias Somomar and Kesta have been manufacturing office furniture from Logroño since 1974, and today they operate under the same joint brand with a catalog that few manufacturers cover so comprehensively: seating for every user profile, work and meeting tables, storage, reception desks, and screens.

Its seating range includes confident, operational, executive, drafting models, and reception benches, while its desks feature series like Line, Strip, Metrik, or Torii. More recent collections, such as the Frida chairs, now incorporate materials with recycled content in their upholstery.

At FactoryOficina we value Somomar-Kesta when a project needs consistency across several zones: ensuring that executive seating, operational desks, and the reception desk share the same design language from one manufacturer.

How to approach Somomar-Kesta according to each area

Area	Useful Question	Recommended Decision
Operational workstation	How many hours are spent sitting and what adjustment does the chair need?	Choose operational seating and a desk from the Line or Strip series based on the space.
Executive	Does the office need a more representative image?	Opt for executive seating and desks from the Metrik or Torii series.
Reception	Is a desk and seating needed that is consistent with the rest of the project?	Combine a reception desk, benches, and confident seating from the same range.
Drafting or technical work	Does the workstation require a chair with specific adjustment for a high table?	Evaluate drafting chairs within its specialized range.
Order and separation	Are cabinets, shelving, or screens missing to complete the space?	Add storage and screens from the same product family.
